And there we go! After a long break and finishing up some of the
anime from the
autumn anime 2013, we shall now proceed to some of the anime I would likely to follow for the rest of the season. But most of the anime for the season came out in the early days of 2014, on which we all have waited for!
I've been waiting for almost a week to at least have watched most of the new release for the season. And now, that I have a good number of anime for the list, I shall now be presenting the anime to you guys!
1.) Buddy Complex
Well, the title itself was a confusing one, I thought at first that this is going to be a shounen-ai genre Anime or something with close genre to it like a little bit of Yaoi. But when I watched it a little further more, I found out that it will not be like that, though I know for sure that different girls out there will start to fan-girl in front of their screens.
I'm not a big fan of mecha genre anime before, but I hope this one will make me catch my thoughts just like form "
Kakumeiki Valvrave" Some series clearly aim to subsist primarily on thrill factor. This one looks like it is aiming for a steadier, more restrained approach, and if the first episode is any indication, it just may be able to pull it off. I guess?
2.) Witch Craft Works
Now this just made my start of 2014 great! I mean, where would you find a witch saying bluntly that the guy he was guarding was his prince and she was a knight in shining armor? Well, almost everywhere I think, but this anime just made my eyes look to it more and wanted to watch it more!
Though, I may not give it an all go fan for the story, I wanted to know what will happen and what will the hero and the heroine will do. I mean, I am hoping that it will not be a common type of anime show where there are a weak person being thrown into a battle where he is the weakest link at first or a person being targeted by supernatural personas and also being protected by an awesome character.
Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to seeing what the series has in store for us, and just fervently hoping that it doesn't fall into a cesspool of clichés and a few too many witches. I won't hold my breath just yet.
3.) Noragami
When I watched the trailer of this, I was like "Oh, I think it will be a good anime t watch to this season." But when I watched the first episode, I was like, "This Anime is quiet good!
There's no getting past just how gorgeous Noragami is. The series has a spare, cool kind of beauty—clean lines, quiet wintry palette, no wasted movement or detail—that is all the more striking for not consciously drawing attention to itself. When that beauty combines properly with the characters and their stories. I easily became attached to the characters and well, to the story as well.

Another important part of any anime’s first episode is establishing how much
fan service the show will have. They were pretty mild, and it was a fairly playful episode anyway, but there was still enough seriousness and exposition to make them feel out of place. On the other hand, they were also pretty difficult to notice. So you better watch carefully and look at each scenes thoroughly.
Let us just watch the rest of the anime and see what kind of ending we will get then.
4.) Nobunaga the Fool
Okay, honestly, I don't get an A-good impression on this, but makes my interest piqued by what will happen on the story, Nobunaga the Fool has a fairly good animation, but the fact that they are trying to put on many different historical figures on one story, makes the names easier to remember but seems to be too old for it. Still, mixing Western and Eastern historical figures creates an offbeat feel that is enough of an attracting factor to hold interest while the rest of the series sorts itself out.
But I am to judge the anime, I'll give it a 3 out of 5 for general scores. The story will have to clear itself first on the first next episodes but I do hope that they will give us something really unique this time since there are also on mecha anime that can put on a good fight.
5.) D-Frag!
Of all the comedy release for the season, this one caught my eye. Not just because, their gag is good, but rather, because of some factors, like, the animation, the moe, and how tricky it is for the first episode. While the show is a gag-comedy that doesn't really focus much on developing a story line of events, it does a surprising amount of fleshing out each character in this very first episode. This even includes characters outside of the Game Creation.
Overall, all I can say is D-Frag! is awesome so far. Let us just see what will happen to it in later episodes, since there are many comedy genre out there too to compare on this one.
6.) Hamatora The Animation
first, I thought this is going to be one common bishounen type anime, and would be a little skeptical. But when I saw Nice and Himeji at that bank, I knew I needed to stay until the end of the episode and find out what this series was all about. And I'm so glad I did! All of the characters are great and extremely diverse, and their abilities are really unique on which you don't see in too many series' these days. I was completely hooked the second I saw Nice punch that guy out at the end of episode 1, too bad, it was near at the end of the episode.

I don't mind if others find it quiet cheap or what, I'm going to follow Nice since he looks cool. This is definitely a series that I'll be following through and through.
And there we go, I didn't inlcuded in the list of returning Anime for their season two like Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren becuase, it's like I am already stating the obvious. Of course I'll watch it!
How about you? What's your must watch list for the season?
